Wounded Wizard Project - Art Show/Silent Auction Benefit for Alex Sherker
August 27, 2012
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Friends,
We are curating an art show/silent auction for our dear friend Alex Sherker. Alex has been tattooing for almost twenty years and is currently out of work due to surgery on his arm; he needs some help paying his hospital bills. He’s a great guy and a true friend—the kind of guy who’d give you the shirt off his back. He has donated to or helped with every other benefit I’ve been part of, and now we have a chance to give back to him.
We’d be so appreciative to anyone who’d like to donate a piece of art. It may be a print, a painting, a sculpture, a drawing, a flash set…anything!
If you’d like to donate art, please email me ASAP at boundforglorytattoo@yahoo.com or mail your artwork to “Bound For Glory Tattoo, 644 Forest Ave., Staten Island NY 10310” no later than August 20th.
We would like to note that in no way are any of the curators making any profit from this auction. We are giving 100% to Alex.
And for those of you who would like to give to The Wounded Wizard Fund but cannot make it to the show, we will be setting up a donation site soon.
